Well, it's been a while. I hadn't realised how far off the radar I'd been. It's been a cruddy year so far what with my grandma's death and various other setbacks too irksome to mention. I think I've entered a sort of limbo of waiting for things to happen and burying my head in the sand about others. I think it's blocked me a bit artistically, but I'm hoping that will change soon. Mike will be coming over for the weekend, so here's hoping some r&r and a few days of good company will help clear my head.

I thought I might do a little round-up of news things I am aware of at the moment in the Poser community.

Alice from AS comes out to play for a limited time

From the 25th April - 2nd May you have a chance to get her. [link] I have to say she is beautifully created and I love mixing and matching her morphs and textures with other creations. I did consider getting GND4, but decided after that Alice is the better product and a fairer priced one to boot. But anyway - back to Alice. This will be the last time she's offered, so grab her now if you want to see what all the fuss is about.

No more nekkid nubiles at Faerie Wylde

It's a shame that it had to happen, but I think the mods made the right decision over this. I don't doubt it was a very hard one to make as FW has always been a haven for bare bottomed nymphs. In the time I have spent browsing the galleries there over the past 4 years I think less than 1% of the total images didn't sit well with me. And those were largely naked or semi-naked pre-teens posed as women; that always creeps me out. (In much the same way when I see real life pre-teens dressed in mini skirts, tube tops and tottering on 2 inch heals. When I saw girls like that in my last job I wanted to march them into Monsoon Kids clothes, put something frilly and girly on them and rant on about growing up to fast! Lol - this is probably why I'm not a mother yet; poor kids!)

Anyway... back to FW; the vast majority of the art there is innocent, humorous and enlightening. It's a shame the few have spoiled it for the many. But I'm sure the place will continue to be a haven for nymphs with their bottoms somewhat more chastely covered. Kudos to Thorne, Mada & Co for making it such a special place over the years.
